Vampire movies have been a part of our lives since many years, since the time of their first appearance in the world of entertainment. Many creative ideas have been initiated in order to get the best script. The Lost Boys, which hit the theatres in the year 1987, directed by Joel Schumacher is still considered as one of the best horror-comedy movies of the 80s.

Plot:

Micheal (Jason Patric) & Sam (Corey Haim) are siblings whose parents get divorce for some reason. They do not know how to spend the rest of their lives on their own and therefore, they move out of the house to their father, who is an eccentric old man. They now are in Santa Carla, which is known as the capital of the murderers. The place is filled with loathe and disgusting events. They do not know that the place is overwhelmed by vampires.

At night, vampires move out killing everyone around, sucking their bloods and feeding on their vulnerable bodies. A group of teenage boys, who are tough in nature, is led by the team leader named David. Micheal sees a mysteriously beautiful chic (Jami Gerz) who is a girlfriend of David.

During this time, Lucy, the mother of kids starts dating a boy and she thinks that her kids have a problem with that. The movie then takes a new twist and turn with the blood sucking vampires and the battle between the good and evil.

Conclusion:

Overall, the movie has received the good ratings despite of common storyline. However, the movie is good and one can enjoy this movie. If you are looking forward to have the best action, then watch this movie.
